FOXIT is suitable for cleaning polyethylene and polypropylene pipe/fittings prior to carrying out an electrofusion or buttfusion weld. However, it should be used in conjunction with low lint/lint-free wipe or cloth to ensure that fibres are not left on the pipes or fittings.
Ensure that the welding area is fully clean and dry before beginning the welding process.
