Description
Woodside offer the Tapping Valve Extension Stem to allow you to install Tapping Valves below ground, whilst retaining control of the valve with just a small chamber near to the surface.
The valve extension stem comes as standard in one size which can telescope from 600mm to 1100mm if required. It simply slots on the top of a valve, fastens with a retaining pin, and the telescopic riser stem can then be adjusted to the correct height whilst back-filling (depending on the burial depth of the valve). Once the back-filling is almost complete, a Fox Fittings Heavy Duty Street Box can be installed to cap the top of the stem, whilst retaining control of the valve.
