When a PE piping system is to be operated at a constant temperature higher than 2o°, up to and including 50°, a pressure reduction needs to be applied to maintain all specifications.

Extra notes:

• For other temperatures between each step, interpolation is permitted (see also ISO 13761 [10]).
• For temperatures 40°-50°, see ISO 13761 [10] and consult pipe and/or compound manufacturer, and consider reduced design lifetime in accordance with EN ISO 9080.
• If analysis according to EN ISO 9080 demonstrates less reduction than coefficients on this table suggest is applicable, higher factors and hence higher pressures can be applied.
