Back in July, Woodside were approached by Industrial Engineering Plastics (IEP), and asked to demonstrate Ritmo’s Sigma 400 Bandsaw. With a working range of 60-450mm at angles of between 30° and 67.5°, it can work with plastics including HDPE, PP, PVDF and PVC.
Jim travelled to Liphook, near Guildford, and spent time with the team, showing them how to safely operate the machine and demonstrating its extensive features including the bench designed specifically for cutting tees.
The client was impressed, but decided that they wanted to have an even bigger dimension capacity and ended up ordering a SIGMA 630 Bandsaw instead!
