Description
The SIGMA 1200 PRO and SIGMA 1600 PRO are electric band saw machines for cutting plastic pipes HDPE, PP, PVDF, PVC (More materials available on request). The Sigma range of saws is ideally suited to a workshop environment and is designed to work hand in glove with the Alfa fittings fabrication machines.
SIGMA 1200 and 1600 have been specially designed to perform cuts with a wide range of angles (from – 45° to 67,5°). With their on-board PLC control system, the operator can input the exact cutting angle with the highest precision.
The machine is provided with special spherical bearing guides where the machine body can be easily traversed at a variable speed set by the operator.
Laser-beam marking system clearly marks the cutting area.
The equipment control panel is located in the operators cabin which is guarded for operator safety. The control panel features a simple graphics display.
The machine comes complete with an auxiliary bench to cut welded pipe sections (for Tees), and support kits for pipe sections (to prevent them from damage).
